Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Bhubaneswar – Puri

Pickup from Bhubaneswar airport. Proceed to Puri. En-route visit Dhauli (the peace pagoda), Lingaraj Temple, Chausath (64) Yogini Temple. After reaching Puri, check into the hotel in the evening and enjoy at Puri beach.

Day 2: Puri – Jagannath Temple – Chilika Lake (Satpada) – Puri

After morning breakfast, Darshan at Sri Jagannath Temple (Non-Hindus are not allowed), Gundicha Temple (Mausima Temple), Bedi Hanuman Temple. Depart for Satapada, Chilika. En-route visit Alarnath Temple. After reaching Chilika Lake, take a boat (at own cost) to meet the Irrawaddy Dolphins in nature and visit the Hradaya – Sagar Sangam or the sea mouth (the point where the lake meets the sea). Enjoy the day at Chilika Lake (India's biggest inland lake spread over 1,100 square kilometers). Evening return to Puri. In the evening, enjoy and relax at Golden Beach, with free time for shopping at the Puri local market.

Day 3: Puri – Konark (Sun Temple) – Bhubaneswar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel then drive to Konark via marine drive. Visit Chandrabhaga Beach and Ramchandi Temple. Then visit the famous Sun Temple, also known as the Black Pagoda, a 12th-century temple richly decorated with stone carvings. In the evening, enjoy the light and sound show in Konark (at own cost). Then drive to Bhubaneswar and check into the hotel.

Day 4: Bhubaneswar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore Bhubaneswar locally. Visit Rajarani Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Parshurameshwaram Temple, Khandagiri and Udaygiri Jain caves. Then proceed to Nandankanan Zoo (famous for a variety of wildlife and also for the White Tiger & Lion Safari – closed on Monday), and Tribal Museum (closed on Monday). Enjoy some free time for shopping.

Day 5: Bhubaneswar – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel, then visit Ekamra Haat. Later, transfer to the airport/railway station to catch the flight/train for your onward journey with a bag full of memories.
